Should Temple Build A Stadium In North Philly?
Temple is making plans to build a sports stadium in North Philadelphia. If this were to happen it would greatly affect the people around the surrounding community. Most of them would have to move or make adjustments to their daily lives due to the stadium. According to the Philadelphia NAACP president Rodney Muhammed, he made a suggestion saying that ‘The stadium should be built in Ritttenhouse Square because of it’s close proximity to center city and how it would benefit those upper class people more.” The university is now awaiting approval from the City Planning Commission for development. We would like to hear your thoughts on these plans for a stadium. Please leave a comment because your opinion matters.
