Vision:

North Central Philadelphia Community Development Corporation NCP/CDC vision is to establish itself as the local resource center in the community of North Central Philadelphia

  • We recognize that Black communities in Philadelphia are being gentrified. It is our goals to ensure that we are not excluded from living in Philadelphia! We are committed to ensure that our community becomes a healthy and vibrant place. NCP CDC will conduct regular research to understand and assist in provision of many types of supports systems that both the community and our businesses require to assist in their stabilization.

  • Develop, build and help revitalize under served, impoverished low to moderate income family neighborhoods

  • Be a support system fostering community beautification, stability, training and unity

  • Enhance/Develop cultural arts establishments and programming for all ages

  • Develop , maintain and operate a Visitors Center localized to the area

  • To come together as a community we will be able to enshrine the local history by developing memorial and achievement walls, benches , plaques, books, history tours and parks

  • Being a support system fostering community beautification, stability, training and unity, garnering sustainability and independence

  • Our youth is very vital to our entire operation, adolescents that volunteer/work with us to better their community
